RFID Circulation Assistant

• For use with existing computers & barcode readers.

The FE Technologies Smart Library™ RFID Circulation Assistant converts an existing library terminal into a RFID enabled terminal.  It allows librarians to carry out administrative functions easily and efficiently using RFID technology.

Add the Circulation Assistant to any desk and connect it to the library's existing computer network.  The RFID pad acts as a reading device and connects directly into the library management system (LMS).

A Green LED and a beeper provides a visual and audio indication of successful reads, while a Red LED lights up on failed reads.

The Circulation Assistant allows the library terminal to:

• process issues and returns and set RFID security on or off
• convert existing items to RFID
• make new books RFID-ready.
